Learning Begins From the Moment Your Child Walks Through Our Door
At Angel's Place Daycare, we believe young children are naturally curious learners.
A baby reaching for a toy, a toddler asking "Why?", a child stacking blocks, turning the pages of a book, dancing to music, or pretending during play are all important learning moments.
Our teachers intentionally create opportunities for children to explore, discover, communicate, create, move, problem-solve, and build relationships throughout the day.
Our curriculum is designed to support the whole child while making learning enjoyable and meaningful.
Our STREAMin³ Approach
Building Strong Foundations for Future Learning
Angel's Place uses the STREAMin³ curriculum, a comprehensive early childhood curriculum designed to support children's development from infancy through the preschool years.
Rather than separating learning into isolated subjects, STREAMin³ brings important developmental skills together through everyday experiences, play, routines, conversations, and hands-on activities.
Our goal is to help children develop the skills they need not only for kindergarten, but for continued learning throughout life.
We Focus on Five Core Skills:
Social & Emotional Development
Children learn to build relationships, express emotions, cooperate with others, and develop confidence.
Language & Communication
Children develop vocabulary, listening skills, communication, and an early foundation for literacy.
Thinking & Problem-Solving
Children are encouraged to be curious, investigate, make connections, experiment, and find solutions.
Self-Regulation
Children begin learning how to manage emotions, follow routines, make choices, and develop independence.
Physical Development
Children strengthen their bodies and develop coordination, balance, fine-motor, and gross-motor skills through movement and play.

Play Is Serious Learning
To a child, play may simply look like fun.
To our teachers, play is an opportunity to learn.
When children build with blocks, they are developing problem-solving, spatial awareness, and early engineering skills.
When they pretend to cook in the dramatic play area, they are developing language, social skills, imagination, and cooperation.
When they dance and move to music, they are developing coordination, rhythm, and physical confidence.
When they explore sensory materials, they are using their senses to investigate and understand their world.

Exploring STREAM
Learning Happens Everywhere
Our children also have opportunities to explore important early learning areas through hands-on experiences.
S — Science
Discovering how things work, observing nature, exploring cause and effect, and asking questions.
T — Technology
Beginning to understand tools and how they can be used to explore, communicate, create, and solve problems.
R — Reading
Building a love of books, stories, songs, language, and early literacy.
E — Engineering
Building, creating, experimenting, and figuring out how things work.
A — Arts
Expressing creativity through music, movement, art, dramatic play, and imagination.
M — Mathematics
Exploring numbers, counting, shapes, patterns, measurement, sorting, and problem-solving.
For young children, these concepts don't have to come from worksheets or formal lessons.
They can happen while building a tower, reading a book, mixing colors, counting toys, singing a song, exploring water, or figuring out how to make a block structure stand.
